Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are supporting a leading defence organisation with the
continued development of its Land Ceptor Systems Engineering
team. This role will support the verification, validation and
certification of a complex weapon system across UK and
international programmes, working closely with multi-disciplinary
engineering teams.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Reviewing technical evidence and assessing compliance against
requirements
* Supporting certification activities, including compliance
documentation, verification reports and supporting evidence
* Reviewing and agreeing Design Verification Plans and supporting
design reconciliation activities
* Working with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical and Software
Engineering teams to identify verification gaps and support
corrective actions
* Supporting process improvements through efficient ways of
working and automation
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience using IBM Rational DOORS Classic
* Proven experience analysing evidence and assessing compliance
against requirements
* Knowledge of Verification & Validation processes and
methodologies
* Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification
evidence
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct technical
investigations and work across multi-disciplinary teams
