Full job descriptionAbout this RoleThis Quality Engineer position offers an outstanding opportunity to join a major Tier 1 contractor delivering a flagship highways infrastructure scheme in Norfolk. You will implement and oversee quality assurance management systems across construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover phases.
*Conduct audits, surveillances, and supply chain assessments to verify quality management arrangements.

*Support construction teams and supply chains in implementing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Field Change processes (RFIs/NCRs).

*Support the deployment of digital assurance tools for field data capture across active construction sites.

*Collaborate with Quality Managers and project leaders to resolve quality issues, track non-conformances, and oversee repairs.

About YouYou are a practical, detail-oriented Quality Engineer with proven experience delivering site-based quality assurance within highways or high-assurance civil engineering environments. You possess strong communication skills and digital site management capability.
*Demonstrate proven experience in quality assurance and control on active civil engineering or highways construction sites.

*Show strong familiarity with digital field capture tools and digital assurance systems.

*Possess a collaborative approach with the ability to engage site teams, suppliers, and client stakeholders effectively.

*A formal auditor qualification or background in regulated highways infrastructure is highly desirable.
