Maintenance Engineer
£45,000-£50,000 per annum | Permanent | Full-time
Newark | Day shift, Monday-Friday | On-site
Family-run manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair production machinery and minimise downtime.
Key duties:
*Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
*Breakdown response and fault finding
*Mechanical repairs and root-cause analysis
*Conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains and pneumatic systems
*Industrial processing, shredding, screening and material-handling equipment
*Welding, fabrication and fitting
*Spare parts management
*Supporting safe working and continuous improvement
Requirements:
*Strong mechanical maintenance experience
*Manufacturing/production background preferred
*Welding and fabrication skills
*Good fault-finding and fitting ability
*Electrical experience desirable
*Full driving licence
*Practical, reliable and self-motivated
Monday-Friday day shift. Weekend work and out-of-hours call-outs may be required and are paid separately.
