Shift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation
Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment?
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in Corby. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and helping to minimise downtime across the site.
The RoleAs a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
*Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
*Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
*Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime
*Working on a range of manufacturing and production machinery
*Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability
*Completing maintenance records and reporting faults
*Working closely with the production team
*Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
The Shift PatternThe role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:
Mornings Afternoons Mornings Afternoons Nights
The CandidateWe’re looking for a multi-skilled engineer who has:
*Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
*Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
*Experience fault-finding on industrial machinery
*A recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC
*A proactive approach to maintenance and breakdown response
*Good communication and problem-solving skills
