Full job descriptionSEN Teacher - Specialist Autism SchoolLocation: Sheffield | Pay: £150-£230 per day | Role: SEN Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield, supporting young people aged 11-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition and communication needs.
The RoleYou will plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons while supporting pupils’ communication, independence, emotional regulation and life skills.
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
*Has QTS and experience teaching SEN and/or autism.
*Can adapt teaching to individual needs.
*Is calm, patient and resilient.
*Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
*Works effectively with support staff and other professionals.
Team Teach training/experience is highly desirable, although equivalent behaviour-support training will be considered.
Pay£150-£230 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and training.
To access the higher rate, candidates should have relevant specialist SEN/autism experience, appropriate training and be available full-time. The school will make the final decision on the rate offered.
