An ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior is wanted by a well regarded audit team at a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Swindon, to lead assignments from planning through to completion.
Swindon has a diverse and well established commercial community, and the firm’s client base reflects that, offering real technical variety across sectors and business sizes. The team is technically strong and collaborative, with a supported pathway to Assistant Manager. Crowe Watson Recruitment has a strong presence across the South West and Thames Valley.
What’s the day to day of the role:
*Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a varied portfolio
*Preparing and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard
*Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team
*Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
*Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners
Required skills and qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background
*At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff
*Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
*Confident client facing manner, well organised across multiple deadlines
