A highly recognised, growing infrastructure consultancy are looking for an eager Entry Level Drainage Engineer to join their team of experienced engineers. If you are looking for an Entry Level Drainage Engineer role to develop your career in flood risk, drainage, and water management this is the perfect opening.
You will have the opportunity as an Entry Level Drainage Engineer to work on a range of development and infrastructure projects across the UK, broadening your technical skills and exposure to challenging projects which will highly benefit your professional career.

The role of the Entry Level Drainage Engineer:
* Assisting with flood risk and drainage assessments
* Supporting the preparation of sustainable drainage (SuDS) strategies
* Preparing technical reports, calculations and supporting documentation
* Working on SuDS management and maintenance plans
* Liaising with clients, local authorities, water companies and other project stakeholders
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across water management, infrastructure design and transport planning
* Assisting with the design and assessment of drainage infrastructure

The requirements for the Entry Level Drainage Engineer include a degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline, along with familiarity with drainage design software such as MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage. Candidates should also have some knowledge of hydrological or hydraulic modelling software, such as Flood Modeller or TUFLOW, as well as relevant placement, internship or university project experience within civil engineering, drainage, flood risk or water management. A full UK driving licence, the full right to work in the UK, and the ability to commute to Derby are also required.
