Real management responsibility, a loyal client base and a firm with a strong West Sussex reputation. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Worthing is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Business Services Manager.
You’d take ownership of a varied client portfolio, overseeing accounts and wider business services while leading the team around you. Worthing sits within the broader South Coast market with good connectivity to Brighton and beyond, and the firm’s client base offers breadth and variety. What’s the day to day of the role:
*Managing a varied portfolio, overseeing accounts and business advisory delivery
*Reviewing work prepared by junior and semi senior staff for quality and accuracy
*Acting as a trusted point of contact and building long term client relationships
*Supporting partners on complex assignments and strategic client planning
*Leading, mentoring and developing members of the business services team
*Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to grow the client base
Required skills and qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong business services background gained in practice
*At least five years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team in a practice setting
*Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, corporation tax and financial reporting
*Excellent leadership and communication skills, commercially astute and proactive
