Salary: £95-£110 per day, dependent on experience
Contract: Long-term, full-time, with potential for a permanent position
Start Date: ASAP
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Little Lever area of Bolton.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for Early Years and Special Educational Needs (SEN) and wants to play a key role in supporting children with additional needs to access learning and thrive in school.
The school is looking for someone with previous EYFS experience who understands the importance of communication, relationships and individualised support in the early years.
The Role*Supporting children within a Reception/EYFS classroom.
*Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.
*Supporting children with additional needs, particularly communication and interaction difficulties.
*Helping children access the EYFS curriculum through play-based and practical activities.
*Supporting communication, social development and emotional regulation.
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning.
*Encouraging children’s independence, confidence and engagement.
*Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will:
*Have previous experience working within EYFS.
*Have a genuine passion for SEN and inclusive education.
*Understand the needs of young children with communication difficulties.
*Be patient, nurturing and consistent.
*Be confident building strong relationships with children.
*Be able to balance supporting SEN needs with learning and development.
*Have a proactive and positive approach to supporting children.
*Work effectively as part of a wider school team.
Experience supporting children with ASD or other complex additional needs would be highly desirable.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
