Are you a Service Engineer with an electrical, mechanical or electromechanical background, looking for a varied field based role where you will receive specialist training, door to door pay and overtime at 1.5x?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist engineering business where you will work on technically interesting equipment across customer sites nationwide, while receiving further training to develop your skills within rotating electrical equipment.

This company is an established engineering business specialising in the service, repair and overhaul of rotating electrical equipment used across a range of industrial applications. They work with customers nationwide and offer a specialist field service and workshop capability, alongside ongoing technical training and development.

In this role you will carry out fault finding, testing and repairs on generators, alternators and other rotating equipment. You will also complete bearing changes and electrical testing, with workshop support in Oakham when you’re not out on site.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with electrical and mechanical experience who is happy to travel nationwide and stay away when required. Motor winding experience is not essential.

The Role:
* Field service, maintenance and repair work
* Fault finding, inspections and testing of rotating electrical equipment
* Workshop support when not required in the field
* Door to door pay with overtime at 1.5x
* Van, fuel, specialist tools and accommodation provided for field work
* Technical training available

The Person:
* Previous field service experience
* Electrical, mechanical or electromechanical background
* Comfortable with hands on mechanical work and electrical testing
* Happy with nationwide travel and stays away
