*Hourly Rate: £18.84 PAYE
*Location: Hybrid Working (3 days office-based, 2 days remote after training)
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract
We are seeking an experienced HR ER Officer to provide practical and professional employee relations support to managers across a range of HR matters. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility once fully trained.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a varied caseload of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, capability, probation, and conduct matters.
*Provide timely and accurate HR advice to managers, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies, and procedures.
*Support managers throughout the full case management process, including preparing documentation, correspondence, and reports.
*Attend formal meetings and hearings to provide procedural guidance and HR advice.
*Interpret and apply HR policies consistently and fairly.
*Advise on terms and conditions of employment and general workforce-related queries.
*Maintain accurate case records and utilise HR systems to support case management and reporting.
*Build effective working relationships with managers, employees, and employee representatives.
*Ensure all casework is handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience of managing a broad range of complex employee relations casework.
*Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
*Ability to provide clear, pragmatic, and solution-focused advice to managers.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
*Experience of drafting HR correspondence and reports.
*Competent user of Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
*Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgement.
*CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
