Full job description We are urgently seeking a FactSet SME / Configuration Consultant to support a leading asset management organisation in London.
The core requirement is deep FactSet expertise and the ability to configure the platform directly . You will work with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, implement configuration changes and ensure these meet business needs.
Key responsibilities
*Deliver hands-on FactSet configuration , translating business requirements into practical system changes.
*Review existing configurations and workflows, identifying improvements and resolving issues.
*Work closely with business users to understand requirements and advise on configuration options.
*Test and validate changes, supporting UAT and troubleshooting defects.
*Document configuration decisions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
*Liaise with FactSet support where required to resolve platform issues.
Essential experience
*Strong expertise in FactSet , with demonstrable experience personally configuring the platform.
*Ability to provide specific examples of FactSet configuration work delivered , including the modules involved and business outcomes.
*Experience supporting FactSet within an asset or investment management environment .
*Ability to work independently, investigate issues and deliver changes with minimal supervision.
*Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders.
