Full job description Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst | Commodities/Energy Trading | London | Hybrid - £90,000 - £100,000 base + benefits
My client, a leading global commodities and financial markets business are hiring a Regulatory Reporting BA into their IT Delivery team. This is a permanent opportunity sitting within the IT Regulatory Reporting team with a strong focus on EMIR & MiFID II. You will be supporting both regulatory change and day to day regulatory reporting activities such as BAU reporting, breaks, root cause analysis and data mapping.
As a strong Business Analyst you will need to understand the front to back trade lifecycle and be comfortable working within a commodity/energy trading firm sat at the intersection of IT, the business and reg. You must also be comfortable of working in an Agile environment.
What we are looking for:
*Strong Business Analysis experience within commodities/energy
*Strong EMIR / MiFID II experience
*Understanding of ETD/OTC and the front-to-back trade lifecycle
*Experience with trade mapping, data lineage and SQL
*Comfortable working closely with developers and regulatory/business teams
*Strong requirements, functional specs, testing/UAT experience
*Databricks / Endur / LME experience advantageous but not a must have.
