Full job description Our client, a leading commodity trading firm, is looking to hire a Settlements Analyst to join their team in London.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing, validating and issuing commodity sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy against contractual terms.
*Managing payments, FX settlements, margin calls, collateral and aged receivables.
*Investigating and resolving settlement breaks, invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
*Maintaining accurate counterparty, settlement and banking data within the ETRM system.
*Supporting ETRM enhancements, UAT, process automation and wider process improvement initiatives.
You will need to have the following:
*2+ years’ experience in commodity settlements.
*Experience within LNG, natural gas, power or wider commodity trading.
*Experience using an ETRM system such as EOS, Endur, Allegro or similar.
*Strong Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
