Full job descriptionStore Manager | Kendal | Store Bonus | Commission Scheme | Private Bupa Healthcare | Basic salary 31K As a Store Manager at bensons for beds, you’ll lead the team and create a welcoming store where customers can find the right products for a better night’s sleep. You’ll bring together brilliant customer service, strong product knowledge and a positive team culture to help your store succeed.
You’ll take ownership of your store’s performance, support your colleagues to reach their potential and make sure every customer receives an experience worth remembering.
What you’ll be doingYou’ll lead the day-to-day running of your store, setting clear expectations and giving your team the support they need to deliver great results.
You’ll:
*Lead, motivate and develop your team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets

*Create a welcoming store environment and ensure customers receive helpful, personalised advice

*Use sales performance and customer feedback to spot opportunities and agree actions that improve results

*Coach your team in product knowledge, customer conversations and effective sales techniques

*Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development within your team

*Keep the store presented to a high standard, with products, promotions and displays looking their best

*Ensure store procedures are followed, including those relating to health and safety, security and cash handling

*Manage rotas and resources to support the needs of the store and its customers

*Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to share best practice and support wider goals
