The business operates with a diverse product range and a more intricate purchase ledger environment than a typical AP function. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate coding, supporting international supplier transactions, and helping resolve ongoing challenges within the accounts payable process.
This is not a high-volume processing role. Instead, you’ll be responsible for maintaining quality, improving accuracy, and bringing a strong understanding of best-practice AP procedures.
You’ll be responsible for:
*Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process.
*Ensuring accurate invoice coding and allocation.
*Resolving supplier queries and invoice discrepancies.
*Supporting international supplier payments and transactions.
*Reconciliating supplier statements and maintaining ledger accuracy.
*Identifying and implementing process improvements.
*Working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth invoice approval and payment processes.
We’re looking for someone with:
*Significant Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger experience.
*Strong understanding of coding, reconciliations, and financial controls.
*Experience dealing with complex AP environments.
*Exposure to international suppliers and transactions.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*The ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
