Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is recruiting HGV1 for ongoing store delivery work based in Kettering.

£17.45 per hour
Time and a half after 9 hours
Days, afternoons and nights available
Ongoing work
Estimated earnings £45,000+ per year with overtime and shift premiums available

Single-drop store deliveries, paid assessment, excellent earning potential and ongoing work. The sort of driving job that drivers usually tell their mates about... but not too many mates.

If you’re a Class 1 Driver looking for straightforward work, decent money and shifts that don’t involve spending your day bouncing between 15 delivery points, this could be exactly what you’re after.

10% afternoon premium
20% night premium
30% weekend premium
Time and a half after 9 hours
Paid 4-hour assessment

Newly passed drivers welcome
Pay increase agreed and due shortly

What will you be doing?
You’ll be making palletised store deliveries using modern box vehicles.
Predominantly single-drop palletised store deliveries
Occasional 2-3 drop routes
Unloading deliveries at store
Reloading palletised returns before leaving
Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
Delivering safely, legally and professionally

Everything coming back is already palletised, so you’re not spending half your shift searching a stockroom for a mystery cage that apparently "was definitely here earlier".

Who are we looking for?
You’ll need:
Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Driver CPC
Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points
Minimum age 21
Professional and reliable attitude
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations

Newly passed?
Perfect.
If you’ve got the licence, CPC and a good attitude, we want to hear from you.

Your working week
Days, afternoons and nights available
Monday to Friday operation
Weekend availability required
Minimum 9-hour shifts
Overtime paid after 9 hours
Ongoing regular work
