Are You an Experienced Stock Controller with a Passion for Inventory Accuracy?We’re currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with a successful and growing business in Stanford-le-Hope. If you have experience in stock control, inventory management, stock reconciliation, cycle counting and warehouse systems, and you’re looking for a permanent night shift role where your skills will genuinely make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a key position within the operation, ensuring stock accuracy is maintained at all times and that inventory levels, stock movements and warehouse processes run seamlessly.
What You’ll Be DoingAs the site’s Stock Controller, you’ll take ownership of inventory accuracy across the warehouse, ensuring stock records are maintained and discrepancies are investigated and resolved efficiently.
Duties will include:
*Managing and maintaining accurate stock and inventory records
*Conducting cycle counts, stock takes and regular inventory audits
*Investigating stock discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
*Monitoring inbound and outbound stock movements
*Updating and maintaining Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
*Producing stock-related reports and analysing inventory data
*Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure operational efficiency
*Identifying opportunities to improve stock control procedures
*Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience within stock control, inventory management or warehouse operations
*Strong understanding of stock accuracy, reconciliations and inventory processes
*Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
*Good Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
*Confident investigating and resolving stock issues
*Self-motivated and able to work independently
*Reliable and committed to working a permanent night shift
