Full job descriptionRegistered Manager with Solent Child Care in the New Forest (Sway / Lymington). A permanent role recruited by Pro Social Partners.
About the role
Solent Child Care are a small, owner led therapeutic provider in the New Forest with five homes and never more than two children in each one, so managers actually get to know the children they care for. Two homes are rated Outstanding and three are Good, care is built around DDP and PACE therapeutic parenting and every manager gets monthly clinical supervision. The package includes 28 days annual leave, a pension with up to 3 percent employer contribution, a paid Blue Light Card, meals on every shift, an employee assistance programme covering your family, fully funded qualifications up to Level 5 and a £500 refer a friend bonus.
What the job involves
Running the home day to day and holding the Ofsted registration for it. Leading the staff team, quality of care, safeguarding, inspection readiness and the placements the home takes.
Pay and hours
*Pay: Up to £55,000
*Hours: Full time, 28 days annual leave
What you need
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to complete), 2yrs residential in last 5yrs, 1yr+ supervisory/management in a children’s home, able to register with Ofsted
