Full job description Weekend Job Opportunity at Specsavers Retford!

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Specsavers team at the weekend. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience in a professional healthcare & retail environment. This would be ideally suited as part-time employment for a current, or future optometry student, or to anybody seeking a career in medical care or retail, that is looking to gain some work experience in a relevant environment.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting customers with a warm, welcoming approach
Carrying out pre-screening, diagnostic checks, and advanced imaging of the eyes (full training to be provided!)
Assisting the store team with day-to-day tasks to keep everything running smoothly

Who we’re looking for:
Positive, approachable, and confident talking to people
Interested in healthcare, science, retail or patient care
Reliable and keen to learn
A great team player

What’s on offer:
*£8.20ph - £12.91ph
*8-16 hours per week, 12 month contract (with the possibility to extend beyond 12 months)
