Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (hours may vary)
Long-Term Contract
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Joiner to join their team working on social housing projects across Manchester. This role involves working within both occupied and void properties, carrying out a variety of planned maintenance and refurbishment works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson looking for long-term, consistent work.
The Role
You will be responsible for a range of joinery tasks including:
*Fitting and replacing skirting boards
*Door handle repairs and replacements
*Boxing-in gas and water meters
*General 1st and 2nd fix joinery works
*Property maintenance and repair work
*Working within occupied and unoccupied social housing properties
*Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
*Previous experience as a Joiner within social housing, maintenance, or refurbishment projects
*Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card
*Own PPE (Hi-Vis, Safety Boots and Hard Hat)
*Ability to work independently and professionally within customers’ homes
*Full understanding of site health & safety procedures
*A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo a DBS check due to working in tenanted properties
