Manchester | Social Housing Sector | Long-Term Opportunity
Our client has secured a number of long-term social housing contracts across the Manchester area and is looking to recruit an experienced Builder to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, customer-focused tradesperson with experience working in both occupied and void properties. The role involves carrying out a variety of bricklaying and general building repairs within residential properties, so a broad understanding of building trades and maintenance work is essential.
The Role
*Bricklaying repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
*Working across both occupied and void homes
*Carrying out general building and associated repair works
*Managing your own workload across multiple properties
*Providing excellent customer service while working in tenants’ homes
*Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Bricklayer within repairs, maintenance, or social housing environments
*Strong all-round building knowledge
*CSCS Skilled Worker Card
*Own tools
*Own transport
*DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting)
*Experience working in occupied properties
*Good communication and customer service skills
*Ability to work independently and manage assigned jobs effectively
Working Hours
*Monday to Friday
*8:00am - 4:30pm
