Full job descriptionOffice Manager
£40k | London, Moorgate | Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5pm
Are you an organised, proactive Office Manager who likes to take ownership and keep things running smoothly?
We’re working with a growing Building Consultancy who are looking for a confident and capable Office Manager to join their friendly, supportive team.
This is a varied role where you’ll be the person who keeps the office ticking along behind the scenes. You’ll need to be someone who spots what needs doing, gets on with it and doesn’t need to be constantly told what’s next.
The role
You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the office, including:
*Managing general office administration and ensuring everything runs smoothly
*Coordinating meetings, appointments and diaries
*Organising travel and accommodation
*Processing expenses and invoices
*Supporting with events, meetings and team activities
*Managing office supplies and facilities
*Liaising with suppliers and contractors
*Supporting with health & safety, compliance and office procedures
*Providing reception and general administrative support
*Helping the wider team with ad hoc projects and tasks
*Being the go-to person for anything that needs sorting!
It’s a varied position, so no two days are likely to be exactly the same.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Experienced in an Office Manager, Office Coordinator, EA type role or similar role
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Proactive and confident using their own initiative
*A natural problem solver who enjoys getting things done
*Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities
*A strong communicator, both written and verbal
*Flexible, adaptable and happy to get stuck in
*Confident using Microsoft Office 365 to an intermediate/advanced level
*Advanced knowledge of Powerpoint
And if you have a creative side, even better! Experience using Canva or InDesign, photography skills, or an interest in events and marketing would be a fantastic bonus.
Experience within property, construction, professional services or a similar environment would be useful but is certainly not essential.
The company
You’ll be joining a growing consultancy with a modern office, friendly team and genuinely supportive culture.
It’s a sociable environment where people enjoy working together — whether that’s grabbing lunch, celebrating team wins or getting involved in office events.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a role where they can make it their own, take responsibility and become an integral part of the business.
What’s on offer?
*£40k
*Monday–Friday, 8.30am–5pm
*Moorgate, London (near tube station)
*Season ticket loan
*Modern office environment
*Friendly and supportive team
*Varied and autonomous role
*Opportunity to make the position your own
If you’re organised, capable, proactive and enjoy being the person everyone can rely on, we’d love to hear from you.
