Full job descriptionAxon Moore are working with a growing business based in South Manchester, to appoint an experienced Accountant to the team. Reporting into the Finance Director, we are looking to appoint someone to provide support and contribute to process improvement. This can be part-time with flexibility to suit.

The ideal candidate must have experience in the recruitment sector to lend their experience and transition well into a role with processes they are already familiar with. There will be opportunities to develop and grow in the role as the business grows. I am open to the level at which someone has been working, so long as it is in the industry.

Salary: £30-50k DOE pro-rata.

Responsibilities include:

Support the Finance Director with a range of daily, weekly and monthly finance tasks including:
*Contractor admin, including payment and billing
*VAT returns
*Management Information reporting for various members of the SLT
*Expenses
*Credit Control
*Commissions calculations
*Multi-currency transactions
*Process improvement utilising tools such as AI
*Other ad-hoc finance work as required.
Experience & Skill Requirements:
*2+ years’ experience in finance within the recruitment industry
*Experienced with Xero accounting software
*Highly numerate with Intermediate Excel skills
*Strong attention to detail and time management skills – able to hit deadlines without fail
*Able to liaise with key stakeholders across the business.
*Strong work ethic and an ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
