Prospero Teaching are working with a mainstream secondary school in Stockport seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking to join a supportive department within a successful secondary school. The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, knowledge, and a passion for the subject.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location: Stockport
Position: Science Teacher
Type of Work: Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time
Minimum Rate of Pay: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

THE ROLE
Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Differentiate learning to meet student needs.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Support students to achieve positive outcomes.
Contribute to departmental planning and development.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school.
Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
ECTs are encouraged to apply.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
