Full job descriptionNewly qualified Auditor. Excellent mid-tier firm. London/hybridAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Auditor to join a well-established and highly regarded mid tier accoutancy practice in London.
This firm works with an interesting and varied portfolio of businesses, ranging from growing owner-managed companies to larger, more complex organisations across a broad range of sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced Auditor looking for greater responsibility, good client exposure and genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The RoleWorking closely with Managers and Partners, you will be responsible for:
*Leading external audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio.
*Supervising, reviewing and supporting the work of junior team members.
*Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
*Identifying and resolving audit and accounting issues, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
*Managing assignments effectively to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
*Developing your technical knowledge and contributing to the continued success of the audit team.
About You*ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified, newly qualified or approaching qualification.
*A minimum of three years’ UK external audit experience within an accountancy practice.
*Experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff.
*Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards, with exposure to IFRS advantageous.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership of assignments and develop client relationships.
