Full job descriptionThe Role:Step into a vital role keeping our business moving safely. As Operations and Compliance Manager, you’ll champion UK F-Gas regulations, build robust system controls for restricted products, and support the wider business in handling them the right way so we can deliver safe, uninterrupted sales.
Key Responsibilities*Create smooth operational processes that guarantee F-Gas compliance without slowing down sales.
*Manage system controls so that restricted products are only sold to verified, registered buyers.
*Keep all air conditioning and refrigeration product data correctly classified across our systems.
*Maintain a central compliance database by running regular audits via our ERP and Google Sheets.
*Work closely with regional teams to provide clear compliance advice and streamline the customer onboarding process.
You:As an Operations and Compliance Manager you will bring a highly structured yet commercially aware approach. You’ll enjoy partnering with regional teams to drive sales and you take pride in acting with integrity to ensure our business always operates on the right side of industry regulations
Skills and competencies*Experience as a Branch or Regional Manager in the merchanting world (ideally within HVAC or Refrigeration), with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.
*A solid grasp of UK F-Gas regulations and the safe handling of restricted or hazardous goods.
*Confident using ERP systems and spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) to analyse data and run audits.
*Great communication skills, with the ability to turn complex rules into practical solutions that work for the business.
