A lovely infant school in Dulwich are looking for an experienced Reception Teacher to join their school in January 2026 for a two term maternity cover contract.
The Role
In this Reception Teacher role, you will work within the Early Years team to develop exciting and engaging play-based learning for the Reception class. You will collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture. The school benefits from a large, well-resourced Early Years area that includes both indoor and outdoor learning spaces.
The School is looking for:
*A qualified teacher with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
*A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*A proactive mindset and a desire to contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
This role is offered on a full-time basis for two terms starting in January.

This creative and high performing 3-form-entry infant school is based in Dulwich in a supportive and diverse community. Pupils at the school are eager to learn and their behaviour is excellent. The school has an established senior leadership team in place and creates an environment where staff feel valued and supported. With good transport links and based in a quiet residential area the school the school offers a lovely calm environment to teach in.
