Working across the care, education and not-for-profit sectors, you’ll handle complex and sensitive claims while taking ownership of decisions and developing effective strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing:You’ll manage a varied caseload of claims involving organisations such as residential care providers, specialist adult care services, schools, charities and foster care providers.
Your work will include:
*Handling claims involving personal injury, professional liability, public liability, management liability and historic abuse

*Managing claims from initial notification through to settlement or resolution

*Assessing liability, policy coverage and potential exposure

*Developing and driving effective claims strategies, including litigated matters

*Working closely with insurers, brokers, solicitors and external experts

*Building strong stakeholder relationships and managing competing priorities

What We’re Looking For:Essential:
*Experience handling technical insurance claims or a relevant legal background

*A strong understanding of liability claims and insurance policy wordings

*The ability to manage a varied caseload and progress claims independently

*Strong communication, organisational and decision-making skills

*A proactive approach and a genuine interest in the care sector

Desirable:
*Experience within care, healthcare, education or related sectors

*Exposure to Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, Professional Indemnity or Management Liability claims

*Experience handling personal injury, professional negligence or sensitive claims

*Legal qualifications or a willingness to study towards CII qualifications
