We work closely with our customers to ensure they obtain the most advanced technology possible for their requirements, on time and on budget. We partner with an extensive supply chain made up of nearly 1,000 of the best companies in the industry the length and breadth of the UK. We currently employ over 300 people across our main UK sites in London, Westbury, Hull and Saab Seaeye based in Fareham, the market leader in electric operated underwater vehicles.

Our work in the UK is proof that Saab anticipates tomorrow; that our thinking edge pushes the boundaries and enables us to develop leading edge solutions to keep people and society safe.
Saab’s Giraffe AMB and MAMBA radars, in-service with the UK, have detected threats and kept people safe around the world. Our countermeasures have protected RAF jets since Harrier, through Tornado and now Typhoon.
Thirty-five percent of our Gripen fighter jet is sourced from UK companies providing an economic benefit of £2-3bn and 5,000-6,000 jobs over the next 10 years. 84% of the NLAW anti-tank weapon, comes from the UK supply chain, manufactured by fourteen UK subcontractors. This is a truly national product with contributing businesses across the UK: Belfast, Plymouth, South Molton, Glenrothes, Basingstoke, Coventry, Smethwick, Gateshead, Portsmouth, Bristol and Birmingham.
