Our client based in Poole has an immediate requirement for a skilled and experienced Electronic Assembler to join their team, to assist with the building of electronic products to a high standard, according to work instructions, and using appropriate hand tools.
Your duties will include the following:
* Assembly of a variety of products, duties to include through hole and surface mount soldering and wiring.
* Also, some cable cutting / crimping and putting together final assemblies.
* Testing and quality checking of finished products.
* Complete job-related paperwork neatly and accurately in a timely manner.
* Labelling, packaging and packing of finished products.
Applicants must have recent through hole and surface mount soldering experience; you will also require good literacy and numeracy for the reading of documentation, and good IT skills. We are looking for people with a positive attitude and the desire / willingness to learn and who have the ability to maintain good constructive working relationships with colleagues.
There is an immediate start available for this full-time temp to perm position, standard working week is 37.50 hours from Monday to Thursday. Starting pay rate will be from £12.25 - £12.80 per hour dependent on level of soldering ability and experience.
