Job Title: Sales Consultant(s) – (Curtains & Blinds/Interior Design).
Location: Home-based (must be located in or around one of these areas:- Marlborough, Hungerford, Pewsey, Salisbury, South Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, Tetbury, Bristol).
Area(s): must be able to service one of these areas:- Marlborough, Hungerford, Pewsey, Salisbury, South Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, Tetbury, Bristol).
Salary: £26,500 per annum + bonus + mileage allowance (pro-rata for part-time).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – full and part-time applicants encouraged.

Role Overview
As a Sales Consultant, you will manage the client journey from initial enquiry to project completion. This includes visiting and consulting with and advising customers on their choice of fabrics, colour and design; measuring, quoting and specifying customer orders for the making and installation process; placing orders with makers and fitters, and subsequently coordinating and managing the delivery workflow and sales fulfilment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Advise and quote customers virtually, via phone, email. Zoom and in-person during customer home consultations.
*Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of customer focus.
*Process orders and payments efficiently.
*Specify and place orders with makers and fitters, coordinating and managing the order delivery workflow and sales fulfilment.
*Use the company’s IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
*Service new business with a proactive approach.
*Conduct home consultations, including measuring and surveying windows.
*Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners.
*Weekly reporting to the Managing Director.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
*Experience in made-to-measure curtains and blinds, whether in sales, making, specification or a closely related role.
*Proven sales experience in bespoke curtains and blinds or a relevant interiors, soft furnishings or design-led sales field.
*Ability to measure and specify accurately in the client’s home or premises, with confidence in front of the client.
*Strong working knowledge of fabrics, textiles, pattern, texture and design use, with the ability to advise both practically and aesthetically.
*Ability to prepare accurate quotations and work with us in raising clear, accurate orders on fabric suppliers, makers and fitters.
*Proven ability to convert enquiries into sales and meet agreed targets.
*Strong communication, customer-handling and follow-through skills.
*Well organised, self-motivated and able to manage appointments, diary and workload independently in a home-based, autonomous role.
